Culture & Philanthropy

Culture

BHB was founded, and is today, a firm where we serve our clients to our best ability.  We strive for superior service to our clients, and every client is different and they have different expectations and needs.

We stand behind our work.  When there is a problem, we make good on it.  Our clients KNOW that we will not abandon them or shirk our responsibilities.  But most importantly, we have really good, experienced people who work on the projects.

We have developed a superior staff of people, who all take pride in the work that we collectively do.  To a person, I am proud of our staff.  I think that our staff recognizes that we have developed a superior place to work, advance in their careers and have a place where they can excel.

Lastly, we wanted to form a firm where it was fun to come to work every day, to be proud of our company and do work that is meaningful.

I think we succeeded.

Bill Baird, P.E.
President, Civil Engineer
(Founding Principal)

“BHB has given me a great opportunity to build up my experience and knowledge of my field leaving me with extra room to grow"

Angelica Rodriquez, Survey Technician

“At BHB we have deadlines to adhere to and definitely the highest level of professionalism in our projects, but we meet these criteria by having a work environment that is relaxed yet persevering.”

Aditya Paranjape, Electrical Intern,
UTA Student

“I like BHB because they, more than other companies I interviewed with, seem to have no problem building successful engineers, rather than hiring already successful engineers. They give young and inexperienced engineers, like me, a solid foundation to build a career in this business. Not many engineering firms, that I have experienced, seem to provide this kind of learning environment.”

Matt Kachelhoffer, E.I.T.
Graduate Mechanical Engineer
Began as a BHB Intern as a UTA student

“The founders allow each person to reach as far as they want and/or can. We have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects with great clients and everyone has a whatever it takes attitude regarding finishing a project or task. I like everyone I work with and consider them friends first, co-workers second. We like to celebrate our successes and take the opportunity to have fun - my favorite is the annual pumpkin carving contest. BHB truly is a great place to work!”
